I'm with JB.
Is that car even real - I mean, it looks severely photoshopped.

yeah i think it looks like the previous generation chevelles lol
i remember 7442guy said something bout doing that to his window
but im definately going to change the turn signal lens from yellow to white and shave them off the side looks so much cleaner, and even the grill looks schmexy

waaaaaahhh!?!?
that picture is DEFINATELY not photo shopped
all he did was shave the door handles/turn signals/and cover up the rear window
and changed out the grille and turn signal lens and different wheels
and thats all

Re: Window Louvers?
Firebird & Camaro = same rear window.
I've done better photochop jobs in 10 minutes.
If you find clear turn signals, let me know. Limey reportedly sold a set from a 73, but I've never seen them. Every car I've ever seen had amber lenses.
Grill looks neat if it's real.
jrsixx done the window mod to his Cutlass & it looks good on that roofline. Dragon's_Lair is contemplating it on his Monte, similar roof. Chevelles look wrong with Opera windows, this looks horrible. There's just too much sheetmetal.

Re: Window Louvers?
There is a fellow over in Norway or Sweden or somewhere that has a G3 Chevelle and he blocked up his side back windows like that. He races his car on a road course for fun all the time and it REALLY looks like fun. He has some Youtube up. When you get old you lose a lot of memory, and I aint talkin' computer memory. JB

77malibu77 - Have you personally seen this car, or do you know the owner? I'm not saying what is done on that car can't be done, I'm just saying it all looks fake. Call it a rendering, call it your final goal, whatever.... It just doesn't look real.

Re: Window Louvers?
haha sorry if you guys think its fake, no i havent seen it but its on my background and it does look like they photoshopped the front turn signal on the fender
but the rest looks normal and even if it was photo shopped it still is possible to do any of that
and im not going to buy white turn signal lens
i was thinking of finding like a certain type of plastic that i can cut to the same shape and glue it on the turn signal lights
ehh, all i can say is wait until i do it and then you can decide

Re: Window Louvers?
It looks alright (the photoshop job) EXCEPT for one thing. Look at the wheels. I don't care if you can prove that car is real, those wheels were chopped on there. The backspacing is narrower in the back, the lighting is wrong, & you can still see raised white letters in the rear that touch the rim. I do this stuff daily, trust me. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the car is completely stock.

Re: Window Louvers?
yeah i see the white lettering and i can see it now how they are regular tires and he just made the rims big to make the tires look skinny

Re: Window Louvers?
hey at least it looks real and its not a ugly looking photo shop, and it gives me tons of ideas just looking at it haha
now if i was going to get rid of the turn signals on the side would u reccommend just bondo-ing over it or wait til i can get ahold of a welder?

Re: Window Louvers?
NO BONDO! That will crack in no time. I recommend getting a welder & practicing a lot before attempting to weld on a body panel. That metal blows through too easy, ask me how I know. Another way to go about it, & some people on here might not appreciate this method, is to get some fiberglass sheets. I've done this in the past with good results, but it has to be done correctly. Patience is very important here. Either way you will end up using a small amount of body filler if you intend to get it straight.

Practice all you want.... the bondo will still crack, and your car will look like junk. If you're going to do it, do it the right way.
