700r4

Post by Roadcaptain S3 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:02 pm

Just an FYI

I know Ebay isn't good for much, BUT i just picked up a rebuilt 700r4 on there last night for
$599- NO core charge-FREE delivery. I don't know about where you guys live, but you can't touch one around here for less than $800, a used 2004r, 4L60e will run you 200-300 depending on mileage, if they even know it. tranny guys around here commonly charge $700 to rebuild a th350. Guys got a feedback of 100% with 400+ sales and offers a free 24 month warranty (replacement). He called me this Morning to get the specifics on what I needed for my car-Cool guy-quick response. Says I'll have it at the shop by the middle of next week-coming from Saginaw,Michigan- Looks Good so far- If it blows to pieces when I get it in I'll let ya'll know.

Outfit is called EBay store:Transmission Parts Depot

They sell stuff independently, but the tranny qualifies for the EBay buyer protection program, so I bought it thru there just in case
tried to link it but I suck.

Just make sure you set that TV-Cable properly. Even a ride around the block with a misadjusted cable will burn it up.
