2" at most of it ..... I had to fab about a 2.5 x 1.5 section to go where welder cut too much out on pass side toe board towards trans tunnel upward sweep...... I have to do underneath on the bottom side seam sealer also the spots are from the sheet metal screws to hold the panel Bond Secure cuz you have to have something to hold it because it needs a very strong adhesion

And.....the quarter panels are "glued" onto the new Camaro. Corvettes have been "bonded" together in some area for the last couple of years too !

Looks good. It will be just as strong as welding. Panel adhesives are really strong and it is sealed. When I need to patch a floor and cant take the interior out, I glue them.

Is your plan to rattle can the whole car until you can have it painted. Are you going to mask the stripes off and paint around them. Looks good!

Based on it being a 93, I would guess its a flat tappet motor. What cylinder head casting is on it now? The 781 is an open chamber head so you will want to see what your final compression numbers would be.

According to the casting number on block it indicates a roller motor BUT could be wrong IT IS FROM A 2500 pickup

Make sure you look into the head gaskets. You will need to make sure it is a conversion gasket to adapt a Mark IV head onto a Gen 5 block. The water passages are different.

Cuts down on arm flex. Better for cornering and higher HP.

No such thing as a factory tall deck 454 so you're safe there. They only came in 366 or 427 hd trucks.
