That would expose the rust though.....
The inside of the door isn't the same color as the door jam (I don't think its an old pic or the lighting is off).

Sodablasting only removes paint and light rust. You can blast an intire car with lights and glass in it and it dosent hurt it. It is so gentle that it only takes the paint off. Sand glass or nutshells is another matter.
