Also looks like it was donked at one point. The fender openings look weird. Looks like someone Cut the bottoms out to clear Tall tires. It doesent look Nice at all and more like a projekt car. And the miles is more like 158000

Sigh...how does a guy not know enough about the car he's selling to interpret that as 58K miles?

The wheels could just be undersized and he has it riding high. Mine kind of looked that way when I tried 40 series tires all around.

I too, would say it was once wearing DUB wheels. lol It's sad that someone would read that as 58K and not 5800.

Yeah but If you look Real hard at the fender openings at the bottom, they look like they are missing 5-10 inches to clear the dubs. And you are right it looks funny sitting High like that. But each his own taste. Nothing for me though im to oldschool, 18s are the biggest i could accept If i had to

Yep 100% former donk. I see that stuff around here in Atlanta all the time. You can see where someone folded the rear of the fenders back for turning radius. However............I kind of like the wheels that are on it now. They must have modified the ad, I don't see where the mileage is listed.

It would likely look a lot better with bigger diameter tires.....

Anyone in the tri state area remember when lots of cars used to run around like that? In the 80s a lot of A/G and B Body's sat like that on stock size wheels though. NY streets were rough then.

It was listed at 58,000 mi and there was a contradicting pic of the speedo showing 05800 miles. that pic is now off the ad.Damon23 wrote:Yep 100% former donk. Heh ... reminds me of an episode of "The Rockford Files" ... a few characters are all in a Ford LTD, but when the shot moves to the interior to show someone shifting & hitting the gas pedal, the dashboard is clearly 2nd gen 1973-7 mc ... it is like nails on a chalkboard ... yikes.
As for this 1977 Chevelle, about all I like ... that orange color.
