FS 1977 Cutlass Salon

A very good friend of mine has decided to sell his 1977 Cutlass.
He has had this car for 30+ years
Originally a 260 5 speed converted to 350 4 speed
I don't have anymore information, I can only say Call or text Frank

He says the car has to go and he very motivated.

Wow, I learn something new everyday about the G3 cars. Never knew that in 1976 and 1977 you could get a V8 (260) and a 5 speed manual trans in the Cutlass, very cool! Hope someone saves it.

wow i knew about the 5 speed in the g-body cutlass but not the g3

Local Friend of Mine that MOved to Florida has a 442 with the 260 5 speed

Sad that the legend of the 442 was reduced to this.  Most any Olds aficionado will tell you this was a real dog of a drivetrain.  At least the 350 and 455 had some semblance of past performance.  Reminds me of when Dodge denigrated the reputation of their "Charger" name by badging that p.o.s. hatchback in the early '80's.

oh baby, and the 442 had it too? that's awesome. Also looks like the 76-77 442's got a special slanted waterfall grille setup vs. the cutlasses. I never knew this stuff about the 76-77 442s. Love the oddballl stuff. and yeah the 260 was probably pretty weak but at least they offered a 5 speed manual which was probably better than any of the other larger v8-auto combos you could get that year.
