73 Laguna- interesting color combo

Post by FumiyoG3 on Thu Nov 23, 2017 3:18 pm

Cool 73 Laguna on EBAY with a light blue vinyl top.  It matches the interior color of the car.  Does anyone know if they offered light blue vinyl tops from the factory? Body doesn't seem to be a factory color but I don't know for sure.

Looks like vinyl top code DD was medium blue for 1973 according to an old thread from right here on this website:

73 laguna

Post by malibu76wagon on Sat Nov 25, 2017 10:04 pm

That was my car. The guy bought it from me for 1500.00. Wants 3000.00. Good luck. Needs all sheet metal except trunk lid and maybe rear floor boards. Engine was seized. Lot of rust under top. Doors both beyond repair . Bondo both rear quarters. The color looks wrong because the guy who painted for my uncle used the wrong color. Should be midnight blue. Top is original from the factory. I was the third owner. Car was bought new from denooyer chevrolet as a lease car.

What did the eBay seller do to increase the price $550 from his last posting?

That's strange, same seller all 3 times he must have bid it up the 2nd time or the seller backed out. That cars value has appreciated from$3000 to $4500 from Nov. 23 wow thats pretty good! LOL
