Suspension Techniques drop springs

Post by brownbomber77 on Tue Dec 05, 2017 7:10 pm

I have a set of lowering springs I’m not going to use.  They’re Suspension techniques 1” drop.  Part number 68120 ($153 from Summit) and 68320 ($145 from Summit).  They were installed but I’m gonna run an Impala drop spindle instead.  $200 Plus shipping or best.   They have 0 miles on them.  I can get them to southern GA or Joliet IL for free.  This is for the front and rear.
Thanks

I can get them anywhere between south Florida and Illinois for free. Coverage is pretty wide along I-65 and I-75. Only caveat is, gotta wait for delivery....until late May....

Why did you decide to use Impala spindles?

With lowering springs, I feel the bump stop is too close to the frame and it doesn't get the travel necessary. I want to run a little bit looser spring instead of ramming the shortest, stiffest thing I can in there.

Wish I was closer, shipping these to NJ would probably be pretty high. Any pics of the car with them installed?

Didn’t even get that far in the project. Just put them together on a rolling chassis. PM or text me your address and I’ll work with you. Already bought the new spindles and springs and don’t wanna store these forever. Ha.

Bringing them to Dakota for the June 2nd meet. I don't want to take them back down to Florida....
