1974 El Camino/Malibu parts

Post by 77camino on Tue Jul 03, 2018 7:40 pm

Stumbled onto a pair of 1974 El Caminoís recently at a local yard. They were pretty much ready for the crusher, but I did find a few parts that I thought someone might need. I figured I would offer them here before the eBay route. I have a decent dash bezel that has not had the radio section cut up. I did wipe of the dust with a damp towel(needs a good cleaning) It has one small crack from the corner screw hole to the right radio knob hole, some old adhesive on the clock lens and a toggle switch below the speedometer. Also have a crack free storage box with trim and gasket. 2 sets of headlight bezels, one set shines up better than the other(bottom set in picture) both have some small imperfections. Would be great to black out and save your originals. Windshield washer jug with bracket.

All prices are plus shipping
Dash bezel $50
Storage box $45
Windshield washer jug $20
Headlight bezel $30(#2), $25(#1)

If you pm me with a number I can text you any picture angle you would want.

It didn't happen to have an overflow tank did it?

It did have the overflow tank, I pulled it, paid for it, brought it home, then realized that it had a small hole in it. I still have it, but not sure if it is fixable or not. I will get a picture of it later and let you judge if you think it would work.

Scuff the area and use some 3M 4200 or 5200 on it. Stuff is amazing but takes a long time to cure.

Went out and looked at it again. Itís a crack not a hole. I was cleaning it up when I found it so I stopped cleaning and could not remember how bad it was. Itís about a 3/4Ē crack in the bottom half of the tank.

That looks fixable... Any shots of the back of it? What part number is it?

Here are all 4 sides. Part number is 340190.

On the cost factor, i paid $7.00 for but after finding the crack I almost threw it away. Since I figured it was trash you can have it for free, if you want to cover the shipping. Pm me with your name and address and I will ship it and than let you know how much the actual shipping was. For this small amount Iíll trust you. FYI, I do not have the cap.
