Nominate 1973 RPO Z15 Chevelle SS wagon

Post by dine73ss on Sat Oct 08, 2016 2:58 am

"The 1973 Chevelle was the last car John Z. DeLorean had direct involvement in developing. He left G.M. in April 1973"

Final year for the Chevelle Super Sport series and the ONLY year Chevrolet approved the Z15 'SS' package on a Chevelle Malibu Station Wagon.

Not the two door favorites of G3 or any of the Chevelle line but imagine dad having to take the kids to gymnastics or sports practice and rather not use the minivan. Might as well take them in something that can still draw looks and still stop by the store for groceries. Oh yea, also take the kids' four friends home and pickup the dog from grooming....Need to get home quick before the ice cream melts and the drinks get warm for the evening barbeque.

'73 'SS' wagon a sure thing for being one a kind at a car show in a sea of '72 and earlier.

'72 and earlier "SS" wagons. SORRY....NOT FACTORY.....ONLY 1973!
