Ok im planning on painting my 76 malibu... im gonna og with red since it was originally dark red but im doing a red more like GM Victory Red. I am wanting to use the duplicolor system autozone sells by the quart primer paint and clear im thinking 2 quarts of each should do it does any one have any input for me as to how much paint i should need to do this car only the exterior not going into details of door jambs and uner hood and all that. i know its half A$$ but im tired of multi color...

Get a gallon and do all the door jams, trunk, and hood area. keep the rest for any repair work that might come up later on.
