I would stick to the posi, especially if its an eaton. You can get the stronger springs and add one shim on each side of the spider gears that go on the axle to tighten it up. If your clutch pack is good and you dont want to spend the money on the springs or cant find them, you can stretch your old springs out some to tighten it up.

Here's my best (caught on camera) one wheel wonder burnout from about 8 years ago. Neighbor lady came down to "talk" with me after I was done. Guess her windows were open and her house filled with smoke. Oooooops......

Pass.
For some reason I like dog dish hubcaps on plain steel wheels, but I never liked those. I guess it's true that the wheels can make or break a car huh?

I'll tell you what JB, I'll make you a smoking deal on perfectly backspaced wheels and tires. The rears are BRAND NEW. About 500 miles on the tires/rims.

Ok... then you can have them....
Wish someone would buy them. They'll never fit back on my car even if I wanted to. The brakes are too big....

Re: SSSSSSSSSSSSSMOKEEEYYYYY!!!!!!!!
I have my heart set on these Federal manufactored tires a buddy has. They are expensive, but they are "W" speed rated and....easy now, dont get excited....White sidewalls, which I love. If I do get the money to get them, I will have to paint my car black to take advantage of them. JB

if I did not have the 8" rallies on the 86 caprice I would snag those in a heart beat.I always did like those just not on an A-body.
