77 Elky rear backspacing
Guys -
Anyone know the max rear tire size/backspacing for a 77 Elky? If memory serves me right, the wheel well on an Elky isn't as big as the Malibu. I'm talking full tuck, no airshocks, no rubbing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure it's a big difference. Were those 8" or 10" rims Limey?

Re: 77 Elky rear backspacing
8" would be 275/60 the wheel well is not as big due to the truck bed instead of a car body and the gas tank is also big 26 gallon compared to 15 to 18 on the chevelles

Re: 77 Elky rear backspacing
I hear you on the truck bed. However, I beg to differ on the gas tank size. I know I've put over 19 gallons in while running on fumes, before I welded the sump in.
Quick check in OPGI:
- CH25055: 19 Gallon tank 73-77 Chevelle
- CH25054: 26 Gallon tank 73-77 El Camino
