That's a 74 rear end.......

My first 76 with the ORIGINAL single headlights. Bezels were primered black:


My new 76. Original passenger side, 75 driver side. Once again I repeat myself. NOT ALL 76 & 77 CARS HAVE QUAD HEADLIGHTS!

Look at this car closely & you tell me which year it is based on the tail end:

I'll try to dig up some 77 tail lights too.

the red one is a 77 malibu classic just like mines

and i think this is the regular 77 malibu correct me if i am wrong

yeah that blue one is the regular cuz it has the regular malibu emblem on the front fender
and where it normally says malibu classic on the tail panel it looks like it just says malibu also

Actually it says "CHEVELLE" on the tail panel, but thanks for saving me some time! 77malibu77 has it right on the 77 Malibu & 77 Malibu Classic rears. Obviously you know what a 75 looks like. Notice the trunks are identical & if you were to add tail light covers, there is no identifying the car from the rear.

no rago i am talking about to the left of the right taillight
the little silver one not the chevrolet one

On the primer black car, you can't see the headlights or the back end, so I couldn't tell you. On the blue car with the louvers, it looks like a 75, but didn't you say it has tail light covers? And the 75-77 do have identical trunks, it's the 73-74 that have different shaped trunks.

Yeah there is. The bumpers are different.

74-75 are more "rounded" where as 76-77 are "squarish"

HD, the black primered one is my old 76. Look at the headlights & you can see it is the single round style. If you can't see the headlights, right click & choose "view image". I wouldn't own a 76-77 with the quad headlights & Opera windows, just not my style. I think we are in agreeance, just getting each other mixed up?

77malibu, the little square emblem just left of the right side taillight says "Chevelle" in block script.

Also too, the 76-77 taillights seem to have more of an angle to them, where as 75 appear straight up and down.
