Don't worry, I'll be 28 this year so you only got a few years on me. It is amazing that most of our members are teens or at least in their "partying" years. When I was in high school no one liked my ride but me & a couple of girls impressed with loud exhaust. In college, everyone was into the first F&F movie & had gawdy wings with stupid body kits on their Honda Civics. Glad kids are starting to swing back to rear wheel drive V8's.

i think a lot of it has to do with these cars being one of the few remaining ways to get into an old car at a young age.

lol well some people never appreciated these cars because of the weight
but i love the body lines, i love driving a giant car
and im sure the youngins would much rather be driving something like a 71 chevelle or 69 chevelle, you know.... whatevers trendy

Re: When your car was new...
but even at full weight my 77 is only 3900 pounds which is only 300-400 pounds more than a g-body

yeah but people judge them as a whole not individually, they either hate them all together or like them alltogether like me

Wrong ... you DO fit into the picture ... because as a youngster on here (as apparently are many others) you own a piece of HISTORY ... something that most kids your age probably look down on because they don't have the "latest this" or "newest that" on 'em.............

Rago wrote:Ouch, salt on the wound...... I miss that car. Actually I was talking about the 73 Chevelle. She went to a new home down by Tulsa to a member on here that goes by "Kikker918". Kikker hasn't posted, but checked out the site prior to the trade. He was pretty excited to be getting the car & I had no use for it, so I'm OK with seeing that one go to a good home.
Eeek...sorry...didn't mean to dowse salt into that open wound
But, yes, I do remember now you had a '73 Chevelle....had forgotten about that. Woops. I can't remember EVERYONE's cars ... lol

Yeah it's OK. I'm in the process of selling/trading my Samurai to get either another Cutlass, an Elky, or just something V8 powered to hold me over until I get Brown Eye finished. Any takers can PM me, LoL.
