Cheap way to fix the twist.
We all know the a-body twist that we have when we leave the stop light. Heres what I did to fix it.
drivers
Passanger, preloaded about 5-8in down the shock.
It's cheap and it works!

Re: Cheap way to fix the twist.
Look for the blue springs over the shocks. There for trucks too increace the load they can carry. But, if you preload them by jacking the opiste side of the rearend, it takes the place of a airbag in the pass rear spring. I put them on both sides to take up some of the slack from the old springs.
Oh, yes it is load.

LoL that works too. I scored a set of drag bags off of G3NUT for like $50 though.

What? Didn't you know that these damn full frames aren't as solid as a uni-body? LMAO!

What?
Only way to prevent twist is a roll cage and Solid body bushings.

Re: Cheap way to fix the twist.
I prefer my heavy full framed car over a crinkle-body any day. Of course if you really want to go as far as solid body bushings, might as well go for motor plates & solid trans mount too.

Re: Cheap way to fix the twist.
But by then you will need a body to go with all that tube. LOL
Oh I treid this becouse I had had springs and didn't have the money for air bags.
But this works just fine for me.

Re: Cheap way to fix the twist.
Did you ever take an aluminum Coke can and crush it with your hand and then try to straighten it back up? Sure, you could split it down the side and get a tiny hammer in there and beat out all the dents and then weld it back together, but it STILL will not be as good as it was before you crushed it. That is how I compare unibody cars to full frame cars. JB
