haha we already went over this, for now im gonna hammer it smooth as much as i can then put some kind of screen or newspaper behind it and bondo over the hole.
thats just a temporary fix til i can get a welder then i am gonna just cut the whole part out and weld in a piece of sheet metal.

the only bad thing about having the handle on the inside is when your trying to load something heavy in the bed you gotta lift it over the handle lol.

Use an air powered crimping tool. Eastwood has a hand powered model that I bought, but I do not know if it will work on something as thick as a tailgate. JB

heres a picture of what it looks like now, still needs one more coat of bondo you can see a little dent in it. i would show more pics but apparantly you guys dont like pics.

thanks now i need to find out how to flush mount the handle to the inside of the tailgate. shouldnt be hard at all i have been looking at it.

you could use a recessed door handle from like lets say an impala ss or some thing along them lines ??

Its a corvette based tail panel and you could install like a trucks roll pan and look really killer

thats the same type of panel except they call it a roll pan just make your tails work in it
