I don't get the big rims, but personal preference I guess. To me an elky is just a truck. No offense, because I like them & all they just don't hold value like their Chevelle/Malibu counterparts. Proof is in the pudding. I know where a 70 & a couple of 71's are for sale right now in running condition & all of them are priced less than $1,500. When's the last time someone said that about a 68-72 Chevelle coupe?

Also in his defense, I traded two 71 Chevelles for a 73. Granted one was a 4 door & the other was just a shell, but the 73 had no title & didn't run. I prefer 73-77 Chevelles over earlier ones because I can beat the piss out of them without offending people, they're cheaper, they're still low profile to the average hot rodder, & most importantly the suspension design is better. I will own a 65 442 one day though. Wink
