Heyy everyone, I'm back.

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things and working on my Monte Carlo again. Since buying a house its not as easy to just through a few bucks at it and do the next thing. Currently on my to-do list is new slotted front rotors, pads, wheel bearings, brake booster thats been sitting on a shelf for over a year. Some shiny valve covers, an exhaust manifold gasket, and painting up some brackets under the hood. Change the insurance and get it emission exempt (goodbye cats), and new shocks/springs.
THEN, removing the dash, finishing some work in there, and getting the column/steering wheel replaced with a black one, finally.

In case anyone forgot who I was...

welcome back...................... Very Happy

chris has told me about your monte and how you liked the way the 275-60-15 BFG's looked on his monte. if memory serves me, you bought wider rims and new tires.

i take it that your interior might of been tan at one time? scratch

They look pretty good on the rear, but I didnt change the fronts, I like the staggered look.

Yeah, it was brown and tan, I dug out an old pic, this ones from 2005.

Thanks. I still drive the Monte, I just havent had the time or money to do more work to it. The last we did was put the new Holley on it and electric fuel pump. That changed the car completely, its incredibly responsive now and hauls balls!

oh, and I did score a pair of new pin-on sail panels emblems from eBay a couple weeks ago Very Happy

Your car looks awesome, either color would've worked since your top is tan, but maroon is more "old school" and looks pretty good. Its cool to see you have Chris helping you out, cant go wrong there!

Its nice having my own place, I just dont have the extra money like I use to, but its worth it. I'm 25 and I have a nice place, I'm grateful.

Thanks INDY, I even have a new set of MSD wires sitting around that need put on when I do the valve covers and all that. and need to finish removing the cruise control... oh man. the list keeps going. haha
