Anyone know what the heck this is?

its under the dash i dont have one on my elky but this is on my malibu.....

what? for real??? how come my elco doesnt have one but it still buzzes? maybe its just hidden deep in there. lol. thanks man! gave ya street cred

I used '77 a wiring harness in my '75 Elco, and it has one of those, hanging in the wiring up under there, but I think it has only two wires on it, a "warning buzzer"
Maybe it's for some option ? Like delay wipers etc, or automatic climate control etc. Those are listed as options.

hmm honestly i think ive seen one of those also. does it look like a little speaker box? lol maybe i can run out to my garage here in a second and find it

I just went through all my wiring diagrams for '77, and couldn't find any thing with the 4-wire connector. Maybe some after market item (?)

definately not aftermarket, all the wiring is factory to it. mines a malibu classic maybe its different than the base model

I can verify that the wiring diagrams aren't perfect, like some colors don't match the wires etc, so maybe you will find out when something doesn't work!

haha only time will tell. i still have another year or 2 before the mali is on the road! lol
