and no I didn't get offended just stating that we already established it was not a SHO motor from previous post's
could really care less anyway Its only a POS DD so I could care less what motor is in it as long as it gets me to point b from point a

It was just a razz.
Ya know, that thing that everyone used to do to me, and I would get pissy and tell everyone off?

Re: New to me 1995 Taurus SE
. At least most of mine have been. As long as it saves gas so you can burn more at the track with Limey II that's all that matters. Oh & heat for those cold Northern winters would be important right?___________________________________________

Re: New to me 1995 Taurus SE
DD's don't have to be. Mine was a POS when I got it, but with MANY MANY junkyard trips, and a lot of work, I turned it into a pretty damn nice little runner.
Well, it's nice to me...to you, it's a POS no matter what, because it's front wheel drive.

Right I know Kyle they dont have to be POS for a DD but why make many many trips to the yard when that coin can go into Limey Duece and you know as well as I do the winters around here dictate to have a 4x 4 or front drive car and this one runs prety dam good right now, I just put a tune up kit that was included with the car when i got it and will do a trans flush and a oil change for it sat for over 2 years but body wise she is gonna rock what she is wearing

Re: New to me 1995 Taurus SE
Well, in your case it is a bit different than mine. I don't have a project car that I have to put money towards. I just maintain my Monte Carlo and my Plymouth. So, I don't put much money towards them. So, my '98 Monte Carlo kind of became my "project car". And I get parts so dirt cheap from my local salvage yard, that it was affordable for me to do. If I had a project classic, my DD would most likely take a back seat for a while.
Oh, and the FWD jab was to Rago
These winters are virtually impossible without FWD or AWD. My cousin has an 88 Town Car with a 5.0, and he told me one time last winter, it took him a half hour to get out of the parking lot of his apartment complex, and it was a VERY SMALL parking lot. And almost hit a dumpster, lol.
I just got new tires for my 98 Monte, Dunlop Signature, and they have premium snow traction, so we'll see I guess

To bad its a Furd, but what can you expect at such a great price, thats the same way I ended up with my Daily Driver.....the GEO. Even with all the crap ive done to it to make it fast and nice I think I have less than a grand in it, I know I have less than 1500.

Re: New to me 1995 Taurus SE
Well now that this turned into a POS discussion instead of a new to me car DD subject LMAO
heres the clean pics after freeing the pass side brakes runs great stops good next step is oil and trans flush then plate / insure it when I get my taxes
( and just a note I didnt take a driver side pic for the sun was blinding me that way and would not have been able to even see the car for the glare )
