74 Laguna soon to be Resto-Mod

[/[url=http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=9&u=15830689]
url] New to me, my 1974 Laguna S3 w/ 454. I just bought it three months ago. Now I just put it up for the winter. Engine has 580hp with only 140miles, body just turned 25,000miles last week. Im slowly going to make this car into a Resto-Mod. I am looking for a whole front clip that has a chome bumper, I cant trade mine because im keeping it. LOTS MORE PICS SOON!!!

Looks pretty good.
I think you're the only person I have seen that wanted to turn a Laguna into a Malibu. Most people want to turn a Malibu into a Laguna, lol.

I have thought of converting mine into a Laguna many times and many times I have said "no way". I was the same way when I was trying to decide whither to build up my 400 or get a big block or get an LS engine. I would change my mind about once a week. Well, one day I made up my mind and jumped. Now I wish I had just built up the 400. It only had 42,000 original miles on it and its still sitting in my garage. JB

I wanted to convert to a Laguna front, but after discovering that there isn't much weight difference between them & Malibu fronts, I'll keep my chrome front bumper. I might buy a fiberglass goon front some day if it goes strip only though.

Re: 74 Laguna soon to be Resto-Mod
Looks great!
Gotta admit, I'm not a big fan of the slanted nose on the later Lagunas but these ones look really sharp. If I wasn't apparently the only guy who likes the stacked headlights even more, I'd probably swap to that front end.
Good luck with her.

You're not the only one. There's probably a few more members on here that I forgot, but here's a couple.
