Newbie from France
Hey all, my name is Yann, i'm 32 and i live in France, near Paris.
I got the link by THE MALIGOON, a long time ago.
I'm a classic car nut, and i own a 75 olds cutlass salon, that i bought in 2005, in Switzerland. Here is a quick description of the car:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2672837
Hope you like it.
It's in a good shape, but i have some job to be done during this winter: exhaust, front wheel drive, suspension..
This is my first US classic, i really like this ride, i thought about selling it once or twice, but it seems i can't do that, i'm so in love with her beautiful blue a**
Guess my other projects will have to wait until i have enough money to buy another car without selling the olds..
I'm also a Nascar fan, I regret the old times, when there were Torinos, Cutlasses or Chargers struggling on the track
I wasn't born then, but i wish i was! I came to USA in june, to see the Sprint Cup race in Sonoma.
The Baron, from Belgium, is a friend of mine. Hello Laurent
Bye
Yann

Welcome to the site, Yann. The 70s Olds Cutlass's were a big favoerite of mine, maybe even more than the Chevy. The Olds out sold the Chevy in the 70s by a wide margin. I love the color of your car. You have a car to be proud of. Take good care of it, there will never be a better car made. JB

Re: Newbie from France
Thank you all
JB2wheeler, you're right, they sold a lot of these cars in the 70s, but here in Europe, there are not much of them.
As finding parts for some 73-77 cars is quite hard, i let you imagine how it is here in Europe, especially for the olds. I always order my parts in the US, i hope i will never need body parts such as a front fender or a hood! Finding used body parts here is "Mission: impossible"
and for mechanical parts it's not much easier.

Re: Newbie from France
Man, your right about finding parts, Its usually easier and cheaper to find a whole car and use as parts...
