Sorry to hear about the misfortune in the shop & hope everything else is going alright. BTW, did you ever figure out your rear end mystery? I remember something about both tires locking up on a burnout.... but my memory isn't all there today.

car is parked waiting to be disassembled. i did a burnout contest and they did not put down enough water. my RPMs kept dropping and seemed that the tires were grabbing. i drove the car home and did not hear anything from the rear end. but i took it out a couple weeks later and did a 2 wheel burnout but dont have a posi im affraid to see whats inside the pumpkin,so i might just put in the 3:42 posi i have in the corner and not worry about it.

well let me tell ya Ant.
i had some of the extra stuff in a garage that i had to get out of my brothers house. someone broke into it and took alot of stuff.
1 nicely polished Corvette alum wheel (spare for the 454),10 columns (ive had for 20+ years),2 sets of BBC exhaust manifolds,1 nice 73 rear bumper,1 NOS rear 73 bumper,2 sets of power windows,20 73-75 grills,NOS pass side fender,20 4 barrel carbs,15 wiper motors (half of which were delay motors),2 20"schwinn 5 speed rims with tires,12 starters,12 alternators,2 dual crossmembers,454 front exhaust pipes,a knee high stack of 7" and 8" trim rings.
they SCRAPPED all of the above but they left behind 4 doors,3 73 deck lids,1 fender,and 6 shelfs and some little misc sh!+.......................... BTW the witness,said she has watched them for a month taking whoa nelly out the back door. charges are being filed against her too.

why didnt she tell you? I just dont get some people...

makes me want to learn how to booby trap my garage when i go on vacations and such
