You hardly see any third generation Monte Carlo Landaus out there. There's some hope for this one. But, it will probably become a DONK.

There seems to be a growing interest in these cars as I have guys asking me for help in finding parts on a fairly regular basis. Problem is, I see way more '73-'77 Montes sitting out in the salvage yards than these third generation years. Let's hope someone can provide her a good home.

I had one like that years ago. Body was great till it bounced off the tow dolly going down the interstate and ended up on the other side of the highway lol.

If I were ever to rank my favorite Monte's by year, it would go like this:

1970
1979
1973
1980 turbo
all other years here or wherever you want to pile them.

No offense meant by that ^^^, just none of the other years stick out in my mind.

I've never been big on 78-80 MC's. I wouldn't not own one...but they're not my first pick.
