Swivel Buckets question

What years of the A bodies had the swivel buckets with the removable/reversible seat cushions?

Found a set in a quonset hut in a local junkyard for 100, but he doesn't remember which car/year they came out of, I'm leaning toward a hurst cutlass but not sure

73/74 cutlass 442s/hurst maybe 75s also

up to 76 in some 442"s then they went to strato buckets

wait a minute removavble / reversable ?? what kinda monster thing are you talkin about ?? I always thought the swivels were not padded ?? like the velour cutlass seats ??

Hey, I've heard of that. I think it was a dealer thing on Cutlass'.

Yeah, they looked kinda neat. The bottom and rear panels are attached via bungee cords and have a velour on one side and vinyl/leather in the other. No luck finding replacement seat covers as of yet.

I would really like to see them seats if not own them LOL

they are f'n awsome. i went and looked at a 74 hurst and they were in it. car was nice,but the seats were perfect. he wanted to much money for the car. but i did but the 76 monte he had.

In a 75 Hurst Olds, seems no-one makes upholstery kits for these, at least thats what alot are saying on the different olds boards out there.

Big $$$ I'm sure to have them done at a custom upholstery shop.

LOL No kidding, went and got an estimate today, cost more than what I paid for both of my lagunas combined!

2335.99 for 2 buckets! I think I'll shop around some more!

Oh well, I can probably recoup my investment by selling the swivel mechanisms to some of the low-rider guys around here, they think swivel buckets are the bees knees!
