Limey, and the jury is still out....

Bought some parts from him, but they were not for the car he said they were, and because of this they would not fit my car. This shocked me as I knew as soon as I took them out of the box they were wrong.

Please note that I bought them LAST YEAR, it took him over a month to ship them once he got my payment. I notified him right away that they were incorrect, and he told me not to ship them back right away. In March I got tired of having them hanging around and he finally 'let' me to ship them back and as soon as he got them he would refund the original payment plus the return shipping. It has now been TWO MONTHS, and STILL NOTHING.

I was really hoping it would not come to this, but I'm out $119.50 and I have not any contact from him in over a month now. He won't even answer my calls (I called twice in the last month).

I know his phone was off and I beleive it is back on now. Not sure if you have tried sending him a PM here. He seems to quickly respond to a PM. I just mailed him a Money Order for some fiberglass bumpers, hopefully my expierence isnt as yours was...

Yes, I sent PMs too, but even those have gone unanswered in over a month.

I sent the payment via PayPal in October, he did not ship until December. Also, he has told me that he did get them and he would send the refund right away.


At the end of this thread I hope I can post that he is just slow to ship and to fix his mistakes.

Sorry to hear that ur having problems Bill. Limey is cool peeps, we have done a couple of transactions and everything came out smooth.

He'll make it good, he just might be busy. I was supposed to take some pics of a part for limey and I've been going thru some personal sh!t plus lagging a bit too.

I had hoped this thread would help move things along, and I waited a LONG time for him to do ANYTHING before posting it, but so far still nothing: No reply to this thread, no PM, no direct email, no call. I even asked him if he might have any other parts of similar value he could send, but that went no where too.

He has posted on the site after this thread was started. Makes me wonder.....

A few years back, we sold him a entire pick up bed full of stuff. My dad didn't get the full payment for months.

Also saw on Realoldspower.com some negative feedback for him

I bought some things from Limey and he took quite a while to complete the transaction, but I told him in advance that I was in no hurry and he apologised for being late and he does have a LOT of perrsonal problems. Just saying... JB

Ignoring people is not a good thing either; STILL no contact from him. I would have a little respect for someone that would at least stay in contact.

Sorry i could not take your call Today was en route for more doc appointments and MRI and would not have been able to here you in car with 2 kids in backseat screaming back and forth.
