MSRA "Back-to-the Fifties" Street Rod Show

Time for the annual MSRA (MN Street Rod Assoc) Back-to-the-Fifties street rod show up here in Mpls/St. Paul where upwards of 12,000 street rods register for the weekend event (www.msra.com) at the State Fairgrounds! Cars must be 1964 and older to register. This is perhaps one of the best car shows a person could ever attend and is supposedly one of the largest...if not THE largest...show of it's kind in the nation! Cars start rolling into town by midweek from all over the Upper Midwest, Canada, and even as far away as Alaska. They can be seen everywhere...freeways, hotels, restaurants, cruisin' the streets...it's positively awesome! Of course, it always inspires those of us who have newer classics to get theirs out of the garage and onto the streets, too...so, it's one big classic car party! Worth a drive up if you have some free time (and, a little cash).

For those of us with newer classics/muscle cars, there is the annual CarCraft Summer Nat'ls next month. It's good to live in Minnesota in the summer!
