Just a little observation...

Just thinking...seems to me, that among G2 Monte's, 1974 seems to be the least common year. There are rarely any for sale of that year. The handful of G2's in my area ONE is a 74. Anyone that talks to me at a car show and says they had one, it's always a 73 or a 76-77. Maybe I notice it more just because mine is a 74...

Funny you should mention this...I didn't see one '74/'75's at CarCraft today. Like you say, either '73's or '76/'77's. Hmmm....

75's I don't really care for. The tail lights do nothing for me.

And another note...I've had this car for 4 years...had it to probably hundreds of car shows. Only about 5 people have ever guessed the year correctly.

I really think there are less 75's than all the others. Ive been looking at them for a long time and its what ive found. My dad had a new 75 and told me going to buy it there werent many around by the summer/fall of 75 and this was in NY city and th esurrounding area. (he wanted round headlights) maybe a short production run that year?
