The Spotted Thread

Alright guys I got this idea from G-Body Forum and thought it would be cool to try here.

Spotted this 1975 Chevrolet El Camino at the Tillamook Air Museum car show on Saturday. It took 2nd place in 1970s class (You can see my Monte in the background [upper left] of the first picture).

It does look very nice and I particularly like that Gem Top. Would have preferred the body without that chrome trim but oh well.

Nice idea to have this 'spotted' thread. In another forum I visit, that thread is one of the most popular by far. In my neck of the woods, I'll be glad to run into any US car from, say, the seventies, but I'll do my best!

Not really a spotted, but kinda neat. I was watching "Airwolf" on Hulu. Season 3, Episode 11 "Where Have All the Children Gone?," 4 minutes in there's a kid working on a 1975 Monte Carlo.

Monte's be representing at the Gresham Car Show today. There were 2 1st gens, a 3rd gen, my 76 and:

That blue 73 looks soo good! The body lines look killer. Maybe its the color, or just the angle/lighting of the picture. Even the wheels work with the look. $14k huh? I wonder what all it has done..

I love that blue one. I actually dont mind the wheels, but I think something more classic yet in the same sizes would be cool.
