got me a g-body!

Post by abajc3 on Wed Aug 03, 2011 4:20 am

ive been away for some time, hasslin all the paperwork and that kind of crap, since i bought the car in another country (croatia) and had to import it on my own.

so here it is, 83 cutlass supreme brougham saloon.

pics are from the previous owner, its sitting at the customs terminal at the moment, hope that they clear it by the end of this week. it was originally a 305 car, but i bought it without the motor. it has a th350 and a 3.48:1 auburn posi rear end. a/c, cruise control, power everything. its practically rust free, except for the trunk floor which might need replaced. it was hit lightly in the front, i have the missing fender, hood and nose, just need the bumper. frame is straight. the best part is it cost me less than 500$, although the transportation costs and various fees will add another 500 to it.

but all in all, im very satisfied.

the same thing may yet happen to me, in california though, its about having land to keep it on..and when it costs you $600,000 just for an acre with no house, you start to realize your pretty limited on space haha
