Howdy all; this is Mike from Northern Alberta
Awesome to see all the cool old GM's and hats off to the site administrators for pulling together this fantastic site for all those Chevy lovers out there. My girl is a rare 74 Chevelle Malibu Classic with an original 454 big block (slightly modified) with a 4-speed Muncie, 373 gears with swivels buckets and newly added Foose wheels. I just bought a new 468 and Muncie M22 for her and I'll drop that in over the winter. Cheers all...enjoy the ride

Re: ~~Introduce Yourself~~
Hello fellow G3 Enthusiasts! My name is Mike and I live in Delaware but I'm from Virginia. I have had the pleasure of owning two of these under appreciated cars. I had a 77 coupe in high school many years ago and I loved it. I have 4 Chevrolets in my driveway, one is a 1974 Laguna S3. It took me a while to find it. Its a small block car and far from perfect but she'll get there. I'm currently disabled so its been a struggle to get things done on the toys! Looking forward to sharing and gathering information with fellow enthusiasts. These cars don't get a lot of respect since they are post 72, but we just have to add our own muscle to the cars!!
Keep it between the ditches,
Mike

Introduction
Hello Everyone My name is Kurt and like you I am a fanatic over 73-77 A-bodies. My fascination started when my dad's blue 74 Malibu was the first real car I knew and drove( Dad use to let me steer in the parking lot). I remember seeing so many people who owned similar cars but was different.I didn't know anything about GM divisions at two or three years old but always loved the different styling cues. As a Gm fan I've owned many cars; for example 86 Trans Am, 86 Safari, Olds Custom Cruiser Wagon and a 2000 Safari Van to name a few. I found that many parts of the Astro/Safari front suspension were derivative of the 77-96 b-bodies and the b-bodies were derivative of the 73-77 A-bodies. I always been linked to the 73-77 A-bodies somehow and my dream of owning one came in the form of a 76 Monte Carlo.
Im Happy to own such a fine driving automobile. Its quiet and comfortable and the 400 small block and 350 THM leads to a blissful driving experience. It was surprising how livable this car is and even more surprising is the handling is better than some of my previous B-bodies.
So I'm glad to be part of this group on these cars and hope to give information on these cars and increase my knowledge base on the Colonnades of all divisions.

Welcome Kurt. That's a good looking Monte. They are great cars & still quite under appreciated...that's why we hang here with like minded folk.

Hello everyone. My name is Jaime and i am 28 years old. Currently live in Lakewood, CA. I have been married for 2 years and have a beautiful 5 month old daughter. I have been a tech with Mercedes for 5 years. I am the proud owner of a 1973 Chevelle Malibu that was originally purchased by my parents in 1977 before they were married. I was given the keys at age 14 to start working on it. It currently has a 355 with some goodies. Havent been able to do much since the arrival of my daughter but do still drive it on occasion. I am so glad to see so many G3 owners in one place. I have been at CT since 2001 and some of you my know me as jm7368. I will try and post some pics as soon as i can.
