hello G3 Forum
Just joined the forum, I am a 22 year old Furd salesman (I know I know, it is the only dealership in town) in Starkville Mississippi and I'm driving a 73 El Camino every day as my main and only transportation.

Re: hello G3 Forum
You are all too kind, the picture really oversells the article. The car is presentable I suppose, but it has faded single stage paint, a few rust bubbles, a dingy vinyl top, the chrome on the bumpers is peeling, and the trim pieces have various issues. But she has a brand new 350 4bbl in it and runs beautifully, just wish I had a 4 on the floor instead of the turbo350.

All those "flaws" are easily resolved. You should see what some folks have repaired/restored/refreshed around here.

Re: hello G3 Forum
I know none of it is fatal, I picked up the car back last November, this pic was taken then. I traded a guy a 75 Plymouth Duster that was as basic and no options as they come and had rampant rust and suspension issues for the Elky. On this one, I have all the equipment I want other than the transmission, and none of its flaws are insurmountable. P.S. if anyone knows where to find some rear bumper fill panels on the cheap, let me know.
