Try a PCV valve. It'll work great. Its super cheap to do, and if you don't like it, you won't be out but a couple dollars. Just plumb it into the large vaccum port in the base plate of the carb. The edlebrocks are in the front and the Holleys are in the back. If you don't have that opition, and you have a spacer plate under the carb, you can always drill and tap that in the rear, and put in a nipple for the hose to connect to.

Seems like the drain-back holes on each end of the heads should be able to get the the oil off of the tops of the heads. Should be a reason that there's that much oil up there, that it can be pushed out. (?)
Maybe not the reason here, but some blocks partially cover the drain back holes in the rear of the heads. Found that on two different engines.

Think I am going to try the PCV. Getting tired of throwing money at it. I can always go to the catch can later.
