Good deal, that's awesome. Is the ID # still on the deck? I think they configured the 396 in various ways that year from 325 up to 375 HP. Would be fun to find that out.

its the 325.hp but its 30 over with a cam

You will have to use the correct bolt holes in the cross member, for the big block mounts.

Dude your louvers look good did you have them or were they add ons?

THEY ARE STOCK THEY CAME WITH THE CAR NEW I AM THE SECOND OWNER

Sweet! That's great you kept it! I just got some louvers from a member here but I have to finish my dash & get it out of my workshop so I can start on my engine & trans clean up & paint. I had a 77 Cutlass in High School. Bought it when I was 16 & 1/2, the day after I got my license...wish I had kept it. Missed it so much I got a Malibu 23 years later.

i sold this one 4 times and it keeps comeing back to me so iam going to keep it this time.. i drove it for 15 years before i sold it the frist time ,,. and the title was never taken out of my name . i guess its meant to be mine ..
