damn

well me and dad dropped off my 454 block at the machine shop a couple days ago, i was getin really anxious about building the motor. Unexpectedly my boss at work just went crazy, soo after a year and a half of me working there i got fired, She came in all drugged up on her pain pills(or she ran out) and she started calling me a lazy piece of whoa nelly and i never do my job and all that BS. ive been there for a year and a half and me being only 17 i thought i was doing good, id get up at 2:30 am to get ready and open the place up,id work my A$$ off and since i worked with a few elderly women i ALWAYS did them favors, soo i finally got tired of her crap and yelled and cussed back n then she fired me. that is a prime example of the boss bulling that had been on the news. soo now it looks like the SS is gonna have to wait

Sorry to heat that! Get her back, make an anonymous tip to the IRS that she's hiding profits. The hell of an audit will drive her over the brink.

Don't let her or the situation get to you. If she's messed up like that you're better off. I can't stand people who are just plain mean to employees because they think they have some kind of power over you or whatever. That's just plain wrong. I would however go and talk to her though, take the high road and apologize for your part of the argument. If you were there for that long it may make a difference if you want to collect some unemployment while you search for another job. Good luck!

i was hoping for unemployment til i found another job, but mom told me i cant get unemployment because im not classified as a legal adult yet by being under the age of 18

they considered me part time, but i was geting anywhere from 40 to 45 hours a week. thank you all for wishing me the best of luck, i got hired at boomland yesterday and i start today:) soo SS Chevelle will be geting worked on ASAP

picked up the block today, they baked it and cleaned it all up, punched it 30 over re tapped all the main cap bolt homes and cleaned all the main caps and put in freeze plugs, it was only $161
