Yep, I had one; a '77 Spyder 4-speed car.
That is one I would like to have it back.

They are unibody cars, and they rust everywhere.
Your car has 5 lug wheels which isn't standard but would make tire and wheel selection lots easier.

Since you have the v6, you won't have the service headaches of the cramped v8.

The first set of headers I ever installed was on a v8 Monza. All other installs are easy after that one.

Looks like a nice car. Enjoy it.

Thanks -

I picked up an '80 Sunbird for my youngest son. Pretty much the same as a Monza. It had the 231 & TH350 in it. Had to replace the heater core........removed the whole dash to change it. It's a uni-body car. Did a valve grind on the engine. The oil pump needed replacement, since the oil light would blink at idle sometimes when the engine was hot. The electric fuel pump won't work if the oil pressure gets too low, since I believe it's powered through the oil pressure switch, which runs the oil light.
This one had a lot of zip for a V6. Only thing is, if the oil pressure gets to be a problem, replacing the timing cover is necessary, since the pump gears run in it, as part of the pump. When the housing wears, new pump gears are a band-aid fix, which doesn't help much.

I had an '84 Regal Limited, which had the same 231 engine, and it also needed new pump gears once, which seemed to work OK.

thanks guys. the trade should go down this coming wednesday, when we both have a day off. hopefully i shouldnt have any oil pump issues as the motor is fresh with very few miles on it. at one time, the guy had an early carb'd GN motor in it. but something was wrong with the wastegate and once it would build 22psi, it broke ring lands in the cast pistons. after doing that twice, he built the n/a motor for it.
