I just have bucket seats and rear bench left to upholster on inside after I get this heater control panel replaced. I have all new front end parts here ready to go in from control arm bushing to ball joints and tie rod ends. Hope to be all ready when spring rolls around this year. It's come a long way since 06 when I bought it. Thanks for the nice coments It been a lot of work but fun also.

Hey nice job. I had a similar idea on the spoiler and hood vents you have. That interior is a show winner for sure. That color suits 73 very well. Looks like the body was pretty solid base to start from. Any ideas how many man hours you got into her?

Re: Newbie here
Body was rough had to make my own inner rear wheel wells new quarter skins floors and panels behind rear seat. Patch bottom of fenders and some dents. This car has fought me the whole way along. It seems like I have to do every thing over 2-3 times on it. Got the first motor from a friend of my brother and it was no good (he said it was fine). Then got mad and bought a create motor form a local place. Put 200 miles on it going in and out as I was working on body and paint. The first time we really drove it any distance it started to knock. Warranty was past as it was over 2 yrs. My brother and I tore it down to find they put a bent crank it in so we installed new crank, bearings, mains, rods and cam bearings. I should have just rebuilt the stock one but the guy I got it from said his wife drove it until it died when the radiator blew. We rebuilt the trany our self’s and that had problems as she over heated the thing so bad it warped the valve body and the case. We ended up getting a new donor trany and swapping out all the new parts to it. Put all new break components in from front to back. 1 year later the new mater cylinder leaked into the vacuum booster and wrecked the diaphragm. Just got done redoing that also bought a new A/C compressor and just charged up A/C last fall. And you guessed it seal is bad so now need to pull, clutch to replace seal. I could go on and on. So as you can see hours way to many to keep track. It’s bad enough I keep track of the funds of doing things more than once. I had a 73 back in high school so I know how much fun and nice riding they are. It’s a good thing I like them or I would have given up a long time ago on it.
After Saturday I’ll post a photo bucket link and you can see how much we have donne to it.

Welcome !
Nice build on your 73! I like the old school look on the exterior with the maroon paint and the keystone wheels, and the cool custom dash , door panels inside. I wish i had the talent to do custom work like that dash.
