Ok, so I am referring to the Malibu for this one but you know ya'll got em. Just the looks alone that the kids give us letting us know we are old. All except for you youngsters, brush your teeth and get ta bed!!!

Took my 13 year old to Wally World with me on a run to town for momma. Knowing she would not do it, I reminded her to lock the door as she was getting out. Her reply, "How do I do THAT?" At that moment, I didn't feel old but man, the everyday things like power locks she assumes will be at the ready. All I could do was chuckle. I had a ball when I got it, had all 5 of my kids circling the car looking for the antenna, gas filler and power window buttons(none)....rofl.

How bout you?

Our friends came over with their son, who asked to go for a ride in the Monte -- I said sure, if he could find where we put the gas in. That was some fun, watching him go round and round. Very Happy

The Saturday before my open heart surgery last November, my sister and brother-in-law brought my nephew out to see my cars before I put 'em away for the year.

My nephew had a blast going back'n'forth between my 1979 Caprice Classic, 1972 MC, 1981 MC SC and 1987 MC LS rolling the windows up and down manually. But, he was a bit confused with the '76 and '79 MCs, which have electric windows. He didn't quite understand why he couldn't roll the windows up and down like he did with the other cars. Smile
