My wife bought this out of Minesotta for me and had it shipped to North Carolina to give me something to do. Little did she imagine that I like to do things right the first time and how hard parts were to find for this car. Loved every minute of it though and have touched every nut and bolt on it. Had a 77 Monty for a winter ride when I was in Pa and always liked the style. Here's a few before and after pics.

Nice work! Bet it's hard to stop without a master cylinder, though. Smile

That was just a decent pic I had of the engine compartment. Now good brakes are 1 thing I do have. I've always said it has to be able to stop before it can go. And with around 600 horse at the flywheel, I must say it stops great.

I love the blue but the silver is also nice.

Nice! Looks like you had a good foundation to work with.

Question: I've noticed all you '73 Chevelle guys have 2 lines in the overflow tank for the radiator. Where does the second line go? Are the radiators different?

My '74 has that that also (as did my brothers old '75 Buick)   One goes to the radiator, the other is the "puke" hose that dumps on the ground.
