It's not THAT big a deal. If the Norwegians aren't blaring 80's Metallica, they're smashing up old cars and such

Dude has done major modifications, and that was the first time they opened the track in winter. I'd do it too..

if that gets you riled up, you should experience an actual winter in MN.. oh, the things we used to do with what are now considered "classic" cars.
in the early 90's, i had 4 mid 70's Monte Carlos that served as awesome winter beaters. they go thru the snow really well and also plow thru snowdrifts like they aren't there. great fun out on the ifrozen lake, too.
even had a 74 Chevelle for part of one winter. my cousin beat the hell out of a 71 Chevelle for 2 winters. that thing would not die.

Heh ... interesting. That is almost the same as racing on salt ... as in the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

*shrugs*

I hate to see older cars smashed up ... but, on the other hand, at least they are still in use....and (hopefully) dying a happy death....

When I think of the crazy things we used to do with our cars up on the Devil's Backbone in the Texas hill country back in the '60s. Especially when it would snow.

Not so different now of days, I suppose. Getting wild and crazy racing on ice......
