I had a 2800 put on mine and whenever I would take off from a stop sigh or red light and I was sitting on a small rise or hill, I would have to give it a lot of gas before it would start moving. If I was sitting at a stop sign or red light on level ground and took a right or left turn I would have to give it so much gas that it would not move at al and then suddenly break loose and start the wheels spinbning. I cant remember if I settled on a 2100 or a 2400 before it acted right. Dont forget this is a street driven car, not a drag car. JB

How can you tell what converter you have? Are there casting or reference numbers that will tell you it's specs? I haven't even really examined it yet & put it on ice after the engine pull. With all the performance mods I made I'd like to make sure it will be in the correct ranges.

I'm pretty sure mine is the original set up w/ factory 305 engine & TH350 combo (which trans is staying put for now). Any help appreciated. Thanks.

what are your intentions as far as a runner, totally street or do you want to play and by the way gears in the the back will determine how much convertor to run, strip or street !!.
That blower will fool the cam specs into going a bit over the advertised lift and duration, trust me I know my motor has gotten loose at times and went well beyond the suggested rpm, be honest as to your true expectations Cory, convertors do make a difference !!!!!!!!! happy bowtie happy bowtie happy bowtie

Thats the same cam I was running in my chevelle. Mine was the crane blueprinted 327/350hp factory cam. Ran real well. Just sold the drivetrain. You can hear it idle here. http://v6.tinypic.com/player.swf?file=30vopj6&s=6
