Loos awesome. I wish I had the tools and skills to do some major body work to mine. I need a new top!

Re: 73 chevelle project update
I hate to even bring this up but I thought I was all ready for paint and decided at the last minute to pull the glass to get a good paint job down in Chanel. Here is what I found.

After repair

From your photos it looks like you are leaving glass in. I just would hate to see you go through all that work annd miss some thing like I almost did.

When cars are this old, it seems normal to have some rust in the glass openings.

Get the body real straight and go with a dark color.. Tuxedo Black, Midnight Blue Metallic, Midnight Green or Dark Green.

Or hot rod black with a matte clear

Wally brings up an excellent point -- do a leak test at the very least on each window to see if there's any water penetration. You may even consider removing the front and rear windows and at least replacing the seals if they've never been done -- the factory original does not hold up after 40 years. If your roof had problems, it's very likely the front and rear window channels did also, and this is the optimum time to address that.
