As every one knows We lost our friend a few months back well, Today we picked up thru a husky recue group the white one you see in Picture she is Absolutely gourgous and has Ice blue eyes, she is a 4 year old that was heading to the Pound if we didn't take her so with said I introduce you all to Calypso !!

couldn't see getting a new puppy from a Breeder when there are sooooooooo many unwanted dogs out there already , And we already belonged to this Husky Rescue on FB for awhile so figured might as well save this girl and my girls love her so was a perfect match !

Glad to hear you went with a rescue dog . I always said that's what I would do if I ever had another . It's been over 2 years since my best friend crossed the rainbow bridge . Good luck , I'm sure you'll have many happy years with her .

It's been two years since I lost Gus. He was an English Setter that I was lucky enough to live with for 15 years.

I still can't bring myself to get another dog.

Way to go! You lasted longer than we did -- the house was so empty after we lost our OES, we only made it about a month and we were on a road trip to get another.

Thanks Guys / Gals she is Adjusting good so Far but not wanting to eat to much Maybe the new surroundings or just hates the smaller bowl we have her food in wish she would eat more though

no doesn't seem depressed very happy actually Maybe its the size of the bowl gonna switch them around tomorrow and find out... She did eat all her food today though which is a very good sign she is Adapting

Our last one ate like a fiend. No sooner did the food hit the bowl and it was gone. We had to portion control her meals or she would've weighed 600 lbs. Our current one just kind of nibbles all day long, so we just leave the food out all day.

As long as she's happy and got a spring in her step, she'll get around to it in her own good time. Some dogs are just self-regulating.
