Re: drop spindles
Those look pretty slick. I just cut my coils, I would like to go lower but my side pipes bottom out over big speed bumps as it is.

I was thinking about going with a heavy duty replacement from a locate autoparts dealer.
I just want to make sure that it sites right.

Re: drop spindles
I have spindles but have yet to put them on, I installed a set of Belltech spings in May.

Re: drop spindles
Careful. Sometimes telling them "I want the heavy-duty springs" gets you the big block springs instead, and then your car will ride like a 4x4 like mine used to.driveit wrote:I was thinking about going with a heavy duty replacement from a locate autoparts dealer.

Re: drop spindles
Whats the purpose of drop spindles? Why not just go with lowering spings?

Ease of installation. Also it keeps the suspensions geometry intact.Hawk03 wrote:Whats the purpose of drop spindles? Why not just go with lowering spings?

Gotcha, thanks! Just wondering if I should have gotten these instead of lowering springs.dynchel wrote:Ease of installation. Also it keeps the suspensions geometry intact.Hawk03 wrote:Whats the purpose of drop spindles? Why not just go with lowering spings?

Re: drop spindles
Drop spindles are more expensive than springs -- that's the trade off.

Re: drop spindles
I like 50$ off by buying them from CPP's ebay store. If you buy them from them directly they are a lot higher.
Is there any way to verify what the difference is for springs.
I definitely don't want it to sit higher!
