Hello from Arizona
I don't think I've ever posted or introduced myself so its about time I do so. I have two 1977 442's both black and white, a 77 cutlass s, and a 73 century gran sport thats burgundy. All are projects I hope to finish one day, I've collected many parts and feel like a kid in a candy store every time I go to the wrecking yard. Cars I'd like to add to my collection are a 73 chevelle ss or luguna and a 73 gto or grand am. Maybe one day I'll get lucky. I'm in Casa Grande if anyone lives here in Az let me know.

Re: Hello from Arizona
I live in Tonopah, its about 40 miles west of Phoenix. I own a 74 chevlle, 73 GMC Sprint, and a 76 GMC Sprint. I always wanted to go to Casa Grande and check the salvage yards. Do you find a lot of older cars there?

Hey Allen, did you get hit by the dust- out? I saw the I-10 carnage and remembered that you were down in the Casa Grande area.

Re: Hello from Arizona
The only wrecking yard here really is desert valley and its not as good as the one in phoenix there. Maybe slighty less cheaper depending but still a fortune. You'd be better of going to hidden valley in maricopa or tucson.Bruisr wrote:I live in Tonopah, its about 40 miles west of Phoenix. I own a 74 chevlle, 73 GMC Sprint, and a 76 GMC Sprint. Re: Hello from Arizona
The Hidden Valley yard had four Lagunas when I was there about two years ago. They were pretty picked over and not cheap. But if you need parts, they might have them. I am always cool with others that want to check out my "collection" especially with fellow G3 guys. I laugh when I think of it as a collection, because you couldn't buy a new Prius for what I paid for all five of them together. They are drivers, not trophies, and they look nicer in pictures than in person, but if you can't share with others, what's the f##king point? If any members want to get together in the Phoenix area, just PM me and we can figure something out. I am self employed, and my schedule is pretty loose.
