Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
It's very sad that he passed away, but I don't see anyone buying that car. Our cars do not look good chopped, and it would be more time/expense to put it back than it would be to just buy an unmolested one. I predict it'll get parted out and go to the crusher.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
If I remember correctly he didn't build it. It was built in 1985 by someone else. I had the pic of the info, but I think I deleated it.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
I managed to pull the pic from my original post about the info.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
If everything on it is as nice as it appears to be on the outside, excluding the top then It might be a really awesome parts car!

That thing is the definition of "hooptie", to each their own but that is the oppsosite way you want to go when customizing IMO

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
The chrome wheels look out of place on a dechromed car IMHO.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
The wheels I am getting are the same color as the ones below. I wish I could find a set of these on a g3 chevelle with size info. Here is a pic on a Camaro. These are 17x 8 and 17x9 with 245/45 and 275/40s.

IDK I think it looks pretty "Pro-touring". Pretty creative job while using a stock Elco 76 grille.
In my day bad meant good or cool. Â Â

Mostly I was referring to that monstrosity in the back. I agree on the bodywork in general, though I detest those wheels.
And IIRC back then 'bad' could still also mean just 'bad'.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
I ignored the engine in the bed...LOL
In our neck of the woods if it was really bad, like crappy, it was "whack". Â Cool also was "Dope". Â I think my generation started Ebonics. Â Â

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
Doing all that front end work I would have not molded the license plate into the bumper, I would have left it off.

If your state tolerates that. In NY you'd better have both, or the cops will treat you like public enemy #1.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
I'm so glad Ohio doesn't have the inspections you guys all talk about. Yes we are suppost to have a front plate...set it on your dash you'll be fine.

Ditto in Massholechusetts. It's so they can catch you running red lights & tolls (bastards). I have an old green plate that just goes on the rear & is "exempt" that we've transferred from car to car since 1993.

Re: G3 Concepts & Renderings
No inspections here! Thank goodness... Mine probably would not pass one.
