Thanks guys. I almost have the rear angle finished. I had planned to have it finished last night, but no luck.

Here is the before.

The one below for the after image was done at close to 5 this morning. What do you guys think?  We are removing the graphics from the tailgate and making the bumpers body color.

I like it -- I always embrace anything that isn't another Camaro/Mustang/Chevelle (pre-73, of course).

And your chrome work is improving greatly.

Thanks.

I agree. I am always a fan of something a little bit different. I have always though that you can make pretty much anything into something cool. It just takes the the right touch. I did say almost!

Lol. That is an exact replica of his car. From a few feet away with them side by side I can't tell a difference between them.

Frankly, it ruins an otherwise cool car.  The whole point of a cowl scoop/hood is that you are (or want people to believe that you are) pulling fresh air from the cowl area.  If you then put a forward-facing scoop through the top of it, you look like you either didn't plan right, changed your mind half way through the build, or just plain don't know what a cowl scoop is for.

Had a friend that had an s10 with sbc. It had a dual carb high rise intake on it that cleared the hood. I think he ended up putting a supercharger on it and it stuck through the hood just like that. The only part sticking out was the air cleaner like the Nova. So the cowl kept the engine compartment mostly clean and he didn't have the cash to buy another hood. I don't think it looks bad. I like it myself. Don't know what it would have looked like with a flat hood though.

Re: Various Renderings

Here is a 70 Monte.  It was an experimental model with a special non production engine.   I am going to do a little more work with the logo on it.  Any ideas?  I am thinking maybe reversing it so that the Experi is in script and the other is a bold maybe broken up tough looking font.  Also thinking on making it look like it has chains holding it down.

I kinda think the car needs a different color for the tough look he was thinking of with the logo.
