Sick of winter and want to drive around

Post by Colonnade Mattie on Sat Feb 22, 2014 1:22 pm

I'm so tired of winter. I can't wait to drive around the old Malibu and get it all tuned up.

This last blast of snow has just about done it for me. I've got 7-8 ft. high piles of snow at the end of my driveway...and, the snowplow pulverized my mailbox. Dog doesn't want to go outside to take care of business because the snow is too deep. Now, they say we're in for another week of sub-zero temps (Polar Vortex!). All I can do is sit in the house and stare at the parts I have ready to install on the Laguna once Spring does finally decide to make an appearance.

Me three! Was just out doing some winter cleanup in the yard. (53 outside) Tomorrow they say more snow then back to the deep freeze. Oh well at least the yard looks better.

we got hit with over two feet of snow. Head Bang but because I live in the Pocono Mountains we have 35 inches. I even got my current ride stuck (Charger R/T AWD worked up to push 420 to all 4 wheels).so I am so done with the snow. It was fun for awhile (all that horsepower in the snow)but once you get over a foot and a half it just stinks.

It went over 50 here the last couple days & we had some serious meltage that cut our piles down by about 60-70%. Very similar conditions here all winter as compared to you guys in the great lakes, mid-west & plains states: Cold, nasty, snow every other day it seems with 3 or maybe 4 school closures so far. Another storm coming mid week I think....but...Spring is just around the corner....HANG IN THERE!!!
 Very Happy

Really feel for you guys up north . If we get and inch of snow here everyone goes into panic mode . They think 50 is cold here and constantly complain about the weather , tut!
