Bump stop Empty Bump stop

Post by Wallyuph Wed May 07, 2014 9:41 am

Does anyone know where I can get the rear axle bump stops for a 73 The complete axle was from a Lemans but I would think the Chevy would be the same bump stop. I have been doing a search for them but only find the bolt on ones. My axle has a slot for them. They are missing and I want to find some.

Did you try Steele rubber catalog? They have things you would never think of.

Wally...there's a couple of Malibus tipped on their sides out at Rohner's that I could check to see if they were any good. You're talking about those two triangular-shaped bumpers that sit on top of the axle, right?

That is what they would look like. I found them on the OPGI website. I was thinking myself, it may be worth getting a set and trying them. How different could they be?

Other things carried over from the G2's to our cars, so I thought maybe those would work.  scratch
